If so, we have a tremendous opportunity to learn from a very senior development team, on a technically complex product. We can work around your class schedule, for approximately 15 hours of work each week We are a small, collaborative and resourceful dev team, working together to build an enterprise level platform for detecting several important classes of financial crime, including terrorist financing and money laundering, fraud, graft and bribery. Many of these problems are challenging to solve and require a dedication to an in-depth understanding of the issues, significant creativity and sometimes non-traditional approaches. We are working smart, prioritizing up front design to build products which are best in class and will benefit many of the would be victims of financial crimes. Our management team works hard to promote these solutions around the world and is in constant dialog with us as we strive to improve our designs and anticipate trends. Primary Responsibilities:
- This position works on the low-level, backend development and testing of the product.
- Coordinate with mid and front-end teams.
- Develop test code, formulate SQL queries, and test backend processes, algorithms, and functionality of product.
- Write test documentation (test plans, test case and bug documentation).
Skills and Experience: - Software development life-cycle experience: whitebox testing,writing test code, and expertise with APIs, database joins.
- Technology: Java, Linux, S.u.S.E. Linux, SQL, PostgreSQL.
